Adriana specialises in financial regulatory policy covering all Digital and Innovation topics.

Additionally, Adriana was responsible for tax and issues affecting capital markets. Her most recent role was Director of Public Policy at Credit Suisse. Prior to moving to policy, Adriana was a Repo trader and Global Product Manager in Cap Markets for Merrill Lynch, and Goldman Sachs in Asia, London and New York.

She is a UK STEM Ambassador, sits on the advisory board of the Digital Dollar Project and is a public speaker on regulatory issues, financial integration, women in finance, returners and women in tech.

Adriana holds a BS in Management, Marketing and Finance from New York University and an MBA from Fordham School of Business Management.

Nelson

Annabel is a finance and sustainability expert with over 25 years’ experience in global financial service firms. She is a systems thinker, and her mission is to support the finance sector to embed sustainability into BAU and facilitate real-world positive change.

She is a Strategic Advisor to CDP on financial institutions, and the author of the Directors Briefing "Navigating Through Troubled Waters", which explains the systemic risks of the water crisis to global supply chains and the finance sector’s exposure to water-related financial risks. The briefing provides Financial Institution Boards with a practical roadmap for risk management and disclosure. It will be published in June 2024 alongside a short film on water risk within Taiwanese semiconductor production and global supply, to bring to life the systemic nature and scale of water-related financial risk.

Previously, she was Group Head of Sustainability Strategy and Policy at M&G plc, reporting to the Group Chief Financial Officer. She devised M&G’s policy on thermal coal across the whole value chain—from mining, infrastructure, and power generation—to implement a forward-looking approach that supports a just energy transition. She also led M&G’s work supporting CDP to refine their Water Disclosure framework, providing investment decision-ready corporate water data.

After 20 years in investment management building institutional businesses and advising strategic clients, Annabel completed an MA in AI and philosophy, and an MSc in Behavioural Science.

She co-founded 'Conversations on AI,' a cross-sector tech ethics network, and advises corporates on navigating AI ethics to build trust and sustainable businesses.

Minio Paluello, PhD

Carolina is a quant who transitioned into fintech to make institutional asset management accessible to a new generation of consumers, set to inherit $100 trillion over the next decade and demanding greater digitalisation, personalisation, and socialisation.

In 2022, she joined Arabesque AI and served as CEO for two years, leveraging data and technology to enable portfolio managers to construct customised portfolios of single stocks at scale.

Before Arabesque AI, Carolina was Global Head of Product, Solutions & Quant at Schroders, where she worked on various technology projects, including mass customisation and blockchain technology, aimed at delivering personalised investment tokens.

In 2013, she became Global Head of Solutions at Lombard Odier IM, where she pioneered sustainability initiatives before they became mainstream. She led the integration of ESG across asset classes and developed some of the first SDG-aligned thematic investment propositions.
